Parent-account notice
Version: adult-preview-2026-09-04 · Mini-Ivy
This signup is for an adult parent or guardian aged 18 or older. It creates your own account, not a child's login or a paid subscription. Public child profile setup and online checkout are not open yet. Please enter only your own adult details.
Information used for your account
We ask for your email address and, optionally, your first and last name. We send a verification link to that address. After verification you choose a password, stored as a protected password hash. We record verification and account-creation times, your adult attestation and this notice's version.
Session cookies keep you signed in. Request information, including network addresses in server logs and temporary security counters, helps operate the site and limit abuse. The site uses hosting and email services to process requests and deliver account messages; pages also load presentation assets from external content delivery services.
Teacher and administrator access
Authorized Mini-Ivy teachers and administrators can find your name and email in the account directory to help with enrollment. Public signup creates a parent role only. Teachers cannot appoint teachers or manage your self-registered account's password, role or payments.
Keeping and removing information
Your account details and signup record remain while the account is maintained. The signup record also identifies the account as a self-registered parent for its permission protections. Expired, unfinished signup requests are eligible for cleanup 30 days after expiry; they do not create an account.
To request access to your information, a correction or account closure, contact contact@mini-ivy.com from your registered email. An administrator will verify the request and explain any records that need to be retained for security, operational or legal reasons, including backup handling. Never email your password or sign-in codes.
Before child onboarding opens
We will provide the child-service notice and parental-consent process before collecting child profiles through public onboarding. Verifying this adult email address is not, by itself, verified parental consent for a child. This notice describes the adult-account preview; it does not authorize collecting your child's details now.
