Terms of Service

Learning Ladders Preschool, doing business as Mini Ivy · Effective 2026-09-10 · All policies

These terms are an agreement between you and Learning Ladders Preschool, doing business as Mini Ivy ("we"), for use of mini-ivy.com and the lessons, practice questions and related services offered there (the "Service"). By creating an account or purchasing a subscription you agree to them, together with the Privacy Policy, the Children's Privacy and Parental Consent policy and the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Accounts

An account may be created only by an adult aged 18 or older who is the parent or legal guardian of the learners in the household. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account and its learner profiles. Tell us promptly at contact@mini-ivy.com if you believe your account has been used without permission.

Learners

Learner profiles are created and controlled by the household's parent. Learners use the Service under the parent's supervision and responsibility. A learner profile is for one child; a subscription purchased for a learner covers that learner alone.

Subscriptions, trials and payment

Online access is sold by monthly subscription, per learner and per subject, at the price shown on the plans page and at checkout. Subscriptions are billed by Stripe using the payment method you provide. Some plans begin with a free trial of the length shown at checkout; a payment method is required to start a trial, and when the trial ends the subscription begins and the first monthly charge is made automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends. Each subscription renews monthly until cancelled. A payment by bank debit gives access before the bank confirms the debit; if it fails, access is withdrawn until a payment succeeds. Cancellation, and what happens to access after it, is described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice to the account email; a change applies from your next renewal after the notice period.

Permitted use

The lessons, questions, explanations, figures, software and design of the Service belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. Your subscription grants the learners in your household a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for their own learning while the subscription is active. You may not copy, record, scrape, redistribute, sell or publish the content; share an account or profile outside your household; interfere with the Service or its security; or use automated tools to access it. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

Educational content

The Service provides practice and instruction for general educational purposes. It is not a substitute for a school curriculum, tutoring or professional assessment, and we do not guarantee any particular result, grade or score.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time by writing to contact@mini-ivy.com from your registered email; active subscriptions should be cancelled first. We may end or suspend access for breach of these terms or where the law requires. Sections concerning content ownership, disclaimers and liability survive the end of the agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are subject to the courts there, except where consumer-protection law gives you a right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change materially we will post the new version with a new effective date and notify the account email at least 14 days before the change takes effect for existing subscribers. Continuing to use the Service after that date is acceptance of the new terms.
